    The rapid digitisation and the increase in the amount of information available provides us with various opportunities. However, in addition to merely helping innovators and entrepreneurs in their use of data we should also focus on the importance of data and information to our knowledge, democratic participation and even the everyday decisions that affect our personal well-being. It is increasingly important to assess the various social implications of increasing amounts of information available and to ensure that our knowledge society takes a form of justified information environment.
