• Open Call 2018: Culture Has The Power

    We are looking for programme proposals for 2018.

    The Finnish Institute in London is a private, non-profit trust. We identify and support fresh themes, events, groups and individuals in the arts, and provoke discussion on issues central to a fair society.

    We are now looking for programme proposals for 2018 in the following areas:

    • Storytelling in augmented/virtual reality
    • Sustainability in design
    • Gender equality
    • Diversity in society

    Proposals (in English) should be submitted in the following format:

    • Proposal summary (max. 1 paragraph)
    • Project description (max. 1 page)
    • Participating institutions in Finland and the UK and/or Republic of Ireland
    • Project team CV's
    • Budget and existing funding
    • Tentative schedule

    We will support selected projects up to max 15000€. Existing bilateral partnerships will be considered a plus.

    Proposals should be sent by 10.12.2017 to info@fininst.uk. Please note that we accept applications by email only.

    Shortlisted proposals will be announced by 21.12.2017, and may receive a small bursary for developing the proposal further. Final selection of projects will be made in January 2018.
