Recruiting: A Director for the Institute

    We are recruiting a director for the Institute. The application closes 4 November 2012.

    We are looking for a dedicated visionary with a passion to lead a team that encourages new, unexpected collaborations and supports artistic interventions and social innovation between Finland, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

    The director is in charge of developing and implementing the Institute's strategy. To successfully lead the Institute you need to have a deep knowledge of contemporary culture and society and to understand the power and value of international collaboration. You have an existing network of contacts within the Finnish, British and Irish fields of culture, society and research. You are keen to work with a wide variety of people and organisations. You are an experienced leader and familiar with managing budgets and human resources. Complete fluency in Finnish and English is required as well as a degree in higher education.

    The position is for a fixed term of four years beginning on 1 February 2013. We offer an annual salary of 84.000 euros as well as a creative and challenging working environment in London.
