London Design Festival: Harri Koskinen Retrospective at Skandium

Skandium introduces ‘Harri Koskinen Works' - a design retrospective and the Bello furniture range designed by Koskinen.


Aside from taking part in the Finnish Insitute's HEL YES! restaurant and design exhibition during The London Design Festival '10, designer Harri Koskinen will be featured at in a selling exhibition hosted by Skandium.

The 'Harri Koskinen Works' exhibition will both launch a brand new collection called Bello and present a retrospective of his pre-existing work.

The extensive showcase of Koskinen's timelessly beautiful creations will take place at Skandium's flagship store in London, including Koskinen's designs for Arabia, Marimekko, Asplund, Alessi, Issey Miyake, Artek, Montina, Woodnotes, Giftaway, Muuto, Finlandia Vodka, Iittala and Venini.

The spare and uncompromising idiom of Koskinen's objects has been delighting design-lovers from Tokyo to Helsinki. Koskinen has been awarded many prizes, including the Compasso d'oro, which he received for his 'Muu' chair in 2004.
