Kickstart Aatsinki – The Story of Arctic Cowboys

Makers of the indie documentary Aatsinki – The Story of Arctic Cowboys have launched a crowd funding campaign in Kickstarter in order to finish the film.

Award-winning documentary filmmaker Jessica Oreck's new project is all about Finland. She spent a year braving the cold and living with a family of reindeer herders in Finnish Lapland. Her film, Aatsinki – The Story of Arctic Cowboys, is a love letter to this family and to their herding lifestyle.

Oreck's team is now raising the money they need in order to finish the film. They recently launched a crowd funding Kickstarter campaign and have until May 11 to reach their goal. In order to help Aatsinki reach the big screen, please consider contributing to the film's Kickstarter campaign. Everyone who donates more than 10 dollars will receive a gift.
