Finnish artist Sirpa Pajunen-Moghissi co-founded ArtKapsule in 2011. Company's first exhibition,"The Butterfly Effect", is showing in London until the end of October 2012.

  • In 2011, Finnish artist Sirpa Pajunen-Moghissi co-founded ArtKapsule and gained a new perspective on the art world she had been working in for the past 20 years.

ArtKapsule's goal is to assists people in creating inspiring homes with contemporary art. The company brings the audiences for art and design closer together by showing artworks outside the so-called 'white box' and shows the artworks in an environment that feels more like a living space than a traditional gallery.

The Institute visited Artkapsule's first exhibition, The Butterfly Effect. We talked to Sirpa about the idea behind the company – and about adapting a more commercial attitude towards her own field of work. Watch the interview in Vimeo.

The Butterfly Effect exhibition is on display at the Koleksiyon showroom in London
    until 1 November 2012.
